About Me

My name is Alyce and I'm the educator here at Schoolhouse Family Day Care. 

I am a qualified teacher and have a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education. After working as a primary teacher, kindergarten teacher and in several child care centres, I am excited to step into the family day care setting and work across all of these age groups in a more natural small group environment.

I'm married with young children of my own, so understand the importance of finding a childcare provider that you truly feel comfortable with and trust.  I'd love to partner with your family in the care and education of your child. Brad is my husband and works as a Nurse in aged care. He and our son can often be found together in the backyard, looking for worms and getting very muddy. 

Wyatt is 3 years old and full of curiosity and energy. He loves being outdoors, exploring in nature and looking for all kinds of animals.

Morgan is our second little boy who joined the family in 2022.

All adults in the family maintain current Police Checks, Working with Children Checks, first aid certificates and child protection training.
